SMALL SIDED FOOTBALL GUIDELINES SEASON 2012

The NDSFA is continuing the roll out of SSF in the area in 2012. Attched to this link is the SSF Guideline Document that details the number of players, field sizes and rules for each age group from Under 5’s to Under 10’s. REFEREEING GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL IN NEPEAN DISTRICT 2012
Late in 2011, following a meeting of our member clubs, our association lodged a list of grievances to our governing body relating to the refereeing services provided to our association. The main objective being; to have ours, and any other grievances addressed and thereafter to develop an agreement that would benefit our association and all interested parties for season 2012 and beyond.
Regretfully, during the process, the association’s main objective was not met and as it appeared unlikely that there was genuine interest in a binding agreement that would satisfy our member clubs, a decision has been made to seek an alternative process to recruit grassroots referees to cover games in the Nepean District.
The association has invited Mr Doug Rennie (OAM) to chair a committee dedicated to the interests of grassroots referees in the Nepean District. Mr Rennie is respected throughout the football fraternity as a senior referee, instructor and assessor, and if the role is accepted, the association, club members and referees will greatly benefit from Mr Rennie's wealth of knowledge and know-how,.
The association will shortly be advertising for qualified persons who are interested in refereeing local matches to join the NDSFA as referee members. There will be a separate body to the association management committee that will be responsible for all matters relating to refereeing grassroots football in the Nepean District.
Referee's uniforms will be provided at cost price using a payment scheme and all referees will receive full payment for matches (with no deductions) for local games covered. Payment will be by EFT and on a weekly basis. Full details will be available at a forthcoming meeting for referees who apply to join the association.
Our club members will be fully updated and the whole subject discussed at the first club meeting of the year which will be prior to season 2012 commencing. |

Successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with our director of coaching and First Grade coach Taryn Rockall to further enhance our player development.

MULGOA CELEBRATES 25 YEARS

Mulgoa Soccer Club as it was formally known was started in 1985. Our founding committee was Barry Bonē (President), Chris Murray (Secretary), Helen Bonē (Treasurer), Kevin Murray (Equipment Officer) and Don (Competition Secretary). At the start of the 1986 season Mulgoa soccer club fielded 3 junior teams playing from our home ground at Gow Park on Littlefields road which was kindly left to Mulgoa Sports Association by local resident Mrs Margaret Gow.
